Did you manage to OC your card yet? If your at 1380 on stock voltage, thats 10MHz higher then I get with mine. At 1380 I'm already touching voltage..

I can maintain 1380 on stock but I can't do anything extremely graphics intensive or my pc crashes

Then you need more voltage. I know my 480 only goes up to 1370 on stock voltage.

I know but your last post said you hadn't touched the mV yet; so I was wondering if you finally got around to adding some in order to get the clock up even higher. Should be no issues with adding a couple of mV so long as your keeping your temps low; Just go up slowly on the clocks and mV.

Funny thing is I have had 3 480s that go exactly up to 1370 on stock voltage, and once I tried 1380 all 3 needed a little mV. Seems like that was the threshold for me on all 3 cards.

I tried but I don't like using after burner... was trying to hit 1400MHz and be stable but to much crashing so I stopped for now. Plus I'm not sure what would be a safe voltage lol

Up to 1.2v is safe with stock BIOS. So you can literally go to the max afterburner allows and be fine.

Only 1.2v is safe? Oh jeez hope my card doesn't crap out then lol, my card floats at about 1.275v with about 65c.

I have different profiles so I'm up to 1.275 on my gaming profile, otherwise I can just run stock the other 90% of the time.

You're still fine. Can go up to 1.4 with custom BIOS. Just a lot of times weird things happen when you try to go past 1.2 on stock

What is the highest clock you guys have got with just stock voltages ?

I actually hit 1400MHz at first with -78mV... was running kombustor for almost an hour but then windows did a restart and then it was non stop crashing q.q

Thats not the highest clock then, thats unstable as fuck. You should not ahve been running that. And 1420/2000 on my 480 at stocke verything. I can hit 1490/2100 on everything maxed as I ahvent tried lowering it but I could hit 1495/2100 before ReLive

It was because of Windows. Not OCes. But still thats not stable. If you cant hit it after a restart
