Build update - thoughts?

I'm going to be replacing my Motherboard, CPU, CPU Cooler, RAM, PSU and my Case.

 

Here is the list of those components that are currently in my build:

Changed out the i7-6700 for the 'k' version.

Get a K-series chip for the Z170 board. Having the k means an unlocked multiplier, and therefore you can overclock.

Or drop the board to a decent b150 or h150, but you'd be better off keeping the current board and getting a 6700k.

Something that just occurred to me.

 

My copy of windows 10 is NOT an OEM version. So I should be able to plug my SSD into the new Mobo no problem right?

 

Would I just have to de-activate the key first?

I believe so? Shouldn't be anything arduous anyway. Personally, don't understand why'd you feel the need to upgrade from a 4790, but to each their own.
