Taskbar Window Preview Help

Hello everyone,

 

My friend is having issues with viewing window previews when hovering over taskbar icons in WIndows 10 home 64bit.

They work fine when there is only 1 window but when there is 2 like in the screenshot it just comes up with a list as shown.

I have also put a screenshot of my own computer which shows the 2 windows explorer windows perfectly.

 

I have already tried changing the display settings to "suit best appearance" and "let windows manage" etc. Also my friend has not changed any themes in Windows and is running the latest nvidia drivers on a GTX 1070.

 

Is there anything I can do to fix this issue or maybe it is a feature exclusive to Windows 10 Pro?
