PC Wont show anything on screen...help

PRTI

So while my dad was on my PC he did something...so first there was a BSOD (Can't remember the code name but it was "WORD_WORD_WORD" and in the middle there was a word with a letter K) and being me i just shut it off and now it wont show anything...ANYTHING, its a complete black screen...

My Conclusion :

-Not GPU (Because it showed that BSOD there must be a GPU running that BSOD screen)

-Not PSU (Because it would not even power anything)

-Not CPU (since it was not a CPU error code and idk how it could even work without a CPU without beeps)

-Not mobo (well because it showed the BSOD there must the working mobo...right?)

Its a HP PRO 3500 (i3 3240,4gb ram,iGPU,random 300w PSU,WD Blue 500gb)

OS is Windows 8.1 pro 64 bit

PS: It did not put out any beeps, just powers on normally)

Hope you can help somehow :)

Jumpstart the psu, or try another one.

It might be a failsafe being triggered and you have to plug iy out of the wall and drain all power or something

EDIT: sorry misread the whole thing ...

Maybe something happened to windows?

My windows got corrupted once after a BSOD but then again no black screen afterwards

I would try to disconnect anything unnessesary (disks only one ram stick you know is working etc)

And reset the CMOS maybe

So i had a very similar problem with a All-in-one:  It would power on (you hear the fans and Hard drive spin up) but absolutly no display, no HP splash screen or anything (not even backlighting from what i could tell)

The Fix:

1) power off + un-plug machine

2) unplug unnecessary peripherals

3) remove 1 stick of RAM

4) hold power button for 10 seconds (while still being powered off and un-plugged)

5) power on machine (still with only 1 stick of RAM)

6) if screen turns on normally > finish boot > shutdown properly

7) re-install stick of RAM
