anyone can mine, nobody will make a profit on a normal pc. energy cost and hardware degredation outweight the reward with bitcoin.

Nope. BTC mining is only for ASIC miners nowadys, no PC will ever have any chance.

your late to the party, use it for folding or maybe a new currency

BTC mining is pretty much dead unless you have ridiculously cheap electricity costs and a battery of ASICs.

I used to mine ether before it dropped and I only made like 3$ a month (with electricty costs) but maybe you can find something profitable

Unless you have dirt cheap power or don't pay for it then you can make some money.

even then its an immense load for your hardware, with very little return. he´s better off mining something else.
