There are multiple versions of the 970

There was a Best Buy exclusive, that was about 30-40 cheaper than the regular one, that had 2 DVI ports, 1 HDMi, and 1 DSP

This was opposed to 1 HDMI, 3 DSP, and 1 DVI

 

These flooded the market, and nor more common than the non Best-Buy versions

 

They have the EXACT same board as the regular EVGA SC 970, just with different display connetions

Well I don't think they all comform to the same outputs. Because my 970 has 2x Display Port 2x HDMI and the DVI-I/DVI-D
