My Corsair Vengeance LED kit is DDR4-3000MHz by factory.
My MSI Z170-A SLI Plus supports DDR4-3600 Memory (in OC mode) (2400/2133MHz without OC mode).

My Intel i5-6600k (currently oc'ed at 45x with 1.26V and 100MHz bus-frequency) supports 2133MHz DDR4 RAM.

Everything is now running in AUTO mode which is 2133MHz (16x100x1,33)

Does overclocking RAM makes any difference in games, performance wise?

Would it harm any of the hardware mentioned above a lot?

Would you guys advice me to oc it or to NOT oc it?

No, you will get no performance boost from it. 3000mhz is more than enough

Thanks for your reply 8-Bit Ninja! I added the speed my RAM is currently running at to the subject topic, forgot about that.

2133MHz it is. (1066 in dual-channel mode).

I assumed you were running it at 3000mhz, if you're not just go into your bios and enable XMP, easy as that

I did that, but then the +/- led lights up directly next to the 12V connector.
