Mini ATX case hot or not?

momsspaghetti

Hello guys,

I'm going to take my components and out them in a new case with window kit, since I want to have my PC on the table to be able to see it. I have an asrock H97M Pro4 motherboard, which is a mini ATX (it is, isnt it?). So I thought about a mini ATX case like the Corsair Air 240. Do you like this case? What do you think about it, any recommendations? And is it possible to build a trible fan GPU in it?

Thanks

MATX = Micro ATX

MITX = Mini ITX

But the Air 240 is MATX so it should fit with your Micro ATX board. Looks really nice.

What do you mean to build a triple fan gpu? You can't build gpu.

Haha ;) I have Electronics in high school which means, that I can build everything. Even though I meant if a triple fan GPU fits in the case.

Maximum GPU Length is 290mm according to the official specs. So as long as the GPU is under that should be fine. What GPU are you considering at?

Example is this, at 287 mm

I've owned an Air 240, and I like it

doesn't have very good fan mounting options, and a lot of wasted space behind the motherboard tray, but it's a nice case.

rubber grommets aren't spaced out very well for certain motherboards, either.

but I love how it can be mounted horizontally, like a test bench.

and, despite what pcpartpicker says, this case can fit a Cryorig M9i and Asus R9 270x DirectCUii

barely, but it can

Snorlax: i7 5820k @4.5ghz, Asus X99 Pro, 32gb Corsair Vengeance LPX 2666, Cryorig R1 Ultimate, Samsung 850 evo 500gb, Asus GTX 1080 ROG Strix, Corsair RM850x, NZXT H440, Hue+

Smallsnor: Huawei Matebook X
