Does this card sag look reasonable for a xfx r9 390x the card sag I mean,I see other xfx cards and they all seem to do that so it looks like I might just stick with it like this but wanted to see how it looked before actually building it.

Well I can see something towards the back of the card(going towards the front of the case) but from what you and the other guy said it looks like it will be fine it has the backplate and the motherboard has steel braces on the pcie slots thanks.

Ok then I guess they are designed to do that then.

Sag is definitely present.

The cards should not be sagging, but there's nothing you can do about it. If it becomes excessive, the slot on the board can be completely warped and destroyed.

No. I'm pointing out my opinion on the sagging issue, which shouldn't be an issue at all, but it is.

You mentioned that the slots have steel around them. To me, that's just a workaround of a problem, and it's not targeting the issue itself, which is a poor mounting system. The amount of sag present in your situation is totally fine.

So it is completely fine the way it is now,not too bad that but is present and noticeable then

Yes, I can see it, but it likely will not cause problems. It's definitely better than the sag present with my GTX 970.

Could it be my case as well? I mean some cases might have slight differences with the motherboard mounting and where the card makes contact with the case?

Ok that is a bit reassuring k am likely to get a better graphics card like 3 years from now anyways maybe sooner just wanted something that would do something for me quite well, and I mean use this as a sort of backup at the point or something

I'm doubtful of that because it's at the end of the card. It's just the lack of proper support all around the card. Most of the mounting strength is coming from the rear.

Well you want cards that won't get cooled as good?

Or you want everyone to make tiny cards like zotac

I want an improved mounting mechanism being used.

Anyways; this is a thread about OP asking if his GPU will be okay like this. Which it will be, even if it should exist or not.

Lets not derail it too much by talking about what GPU manufacturers should be doing differently
