Not sure what you mean? Do you want to hook a shop-vac to your cpu? Because they're loud as hell and not rated for 24/7 operation.

just want to try it as a experiment on a old 775 mobo

Well if you want to you'll still need to hook it to a heatsink of some sort to disperse the heat. Again you'll only get an hour or two at once because those motors overheat after awhile.
