If you are planning to use it just for a short period, I would recommend you to use a demo version of adobe creative cloud or maybe get some sony vegas free version.

But I don't know any GOOD freeware for editing to tell you the truth.

Most freeware is nothing more than the ol Movie Maker from Windows XP :D
