Dell S2417DG how is this monitor for gaming with a gtx 1080 ? how are the viewing angles?????

I have the 27" version 1440 and 144hz. 

The viewing angles really are not an issue. I dont see how you would be sitting at a position so awkward as to ruin the experience.

that being said, if you're not properly aligned, it is quite noticeable.

just got it's big brother, the s2716dg last week and I'm in love :x

 

The viewing angles on the 27" are fine, great for a TN monitor.  I personally will probably never buy an ips though
