Does it have to be small? I would get atx case, and atx mobo for future upgrade.

I thought of that, but considering SLI is shit, any future upgrade would just be a better single GPU, instead of adding a second one.

What other upgrade limitations would I run into?

from what I've read, the A40 isn't the greatest of AIOs

it's pretty loud, and doesn't cool as effectively as other AIOs

I'd get a Cryorig air cooler instead. Something like an H5

Noctua NH D15 is very quite and one of the coolest (in terms of temperature) cooler. The component you picked is great but why not go for Corsair Vengeance RED LED instead of white?

I was trying to go with a black and white build lol. I was having trouble finding a mobo to fit the theme though.

IMO, liquid coolers aren't worth it. I have an H100i and the pump plus 2 fans makes a heck of a lot more noise than a CPU cooler with just 1 or 2 fans on it. Plus, with a liquid cooler, you have to worry about "Will the coolant tubes have enough length to go from point A to point B" and sometimes a liquid cooler can break. For instance, if something happens and a line is punctured or it comes loose from its fitting, liquid will go everywhere and let's just say liquid and computers don't go together very well. An air cooler, if it malfunctions, will normally just cause the computer to shut down due to overheating, and occasionally the CPU can die. A lot cheaper to replace a dead CPU than to replace a mobo, CPU, graphics card and whatever else a coolant leak will destroy

And also, you REALLY should not get that ram if you are getting bequiet darkrock 3 because that ram is too tall to install the cooler, and led can't be shown too.

Yeah, I would change the ram to a lower profile HyperX or something if i went with the air cooling opiton.
