The reddit voting changes

You may know about this, or have noticed the really high vote counts lately

anyone else think the vote tally changes on Reddit are ruining some subs by really encouraging the karma farming resposters/shiposters and keeping stuff on Top for too long? 

 

We're only like 3 days in and it's been BAD for some larger subs

In other words, we can't ban /r/the_donald without looking bad, so we're going to make it harder for them to get to the front page or /r/all.

dude they were only allowed on the front page for like a second after the election. It's been impossible since not long after the election.

The really dumb thing is, is that they're calling it "abuse of the algorithm", and people actually believe it. lmfao

Meanwhile as soon as the election was over, for like a day it was CTR free and you could see the real vote scores.

My screen is bright AF and I still adjust. 

I don't use dark themes cause it works until you open a file explorer or accidentally link to a bright sight. Then it's just making it worse

what if i told you, my whole UI is dark theme including explorer. 

i have an lcd monitor, that was google images lol.

I know, I'm joking. But nice on the ui thing. 
My thing is I adjust once and never have to adjust again. Plus I tend to use my laptop if the room is completely dark, so that has a brightness setting that's real easy to hit.

ah, the problem is my HP monitor is too bright, i have it 3/100 and it is still bright in a lit room., like my monitor next to it little older is on 75/100 to get the same effect has 3/100 on my main idk. ah my desktop is in my room with dimish lighting.

I feel yah. I got these korean monitors in my bedroom. Their backlights are so strong I use anti-blue light glasses sometimes since they're not TN they put out a LOT of blue light and really irritate your eyes if you're tired.

ah IPS + F.lux (when i was on windows), i need to check if flux is on linux yet.......

I tend to dislike flux, but I do use it sometimes.

The changes were made to harm r/the_donald but the funny part is that it isn't stopped them from reaching r/all at all. That subreddit never sleeps and trying to silence them and condemn them all like a bunch of assholes only made them stronger/more active.
