It's while playing Heroes of the Storm right now.

I only average about 90Fps on high settings, i should get way more.

got a:

i5 6600

R9 Fury @ 1050mhz -24mv

16GB RAM

whats the Problem here?

in games like witcher 3 on ultra i easly have 70 FPS, why cant it keep its usage?

Thanks :D

I'm not really familiar with the game, but can you also show your CPU usage next to your GPU. Because looking at the graph, the game is either not really using a whole lot GPU power all the time or your CPU or other component in your system is causing the performance discrepancy.

The other thing is that even the modern i5 aren't really up to the task of handling 100+ fps, at least in cpu heavy games.

CPU: i5 6600k @4.5GHz | GPU Zotac Amp! 1070 | RAM: Corsair vengeance 16gb | Storage: Corsair Force LE 240gb +480gb | Case: Corsair Carbide Clear C400 | PSU: Corsair RM650x | Cooler: H110i GTX

Fellow HotS player here.

Heroes of the Storm uses only one CPU core, and as such it is CPU-limited and not GPU-limited. As an example, my fps did not change at all when I swapped out my GTX 770 for a GTX 1070 (running the game on Extreme at 1080p), but it drastically increased when I overclocked my i7-980X from 3.3 to 4.0 GHz. I used to see dips into the 30s during team fights, but after the overclock the lowest I've ever seen was about 50.

So, if you open the Task Manager while playing the game, you'll very likely see one of your cores maxed and the others barely touched. Alongside only using one core, the game itself is just badly optimized.

Your FPS and GPU usage are not your fault.
