CPU Overclocking

Does overclocking using Intel® Extreme Tuning Utility (Intel® XTU)  tamper my CPU Warranty?

Can anyone help me out?

My laptop processor is Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6500U CPU @ 2.50GHz.

Can it be overclocked?

I didn't understand the terms and conditions.

It can be overclocked, but not by conventional methods, since pricessors that don't have the K sufix like the 6700k don't officially support overclocking.

I would not suggest over clocking a Mobile chip. Especially sense it is the u series. The performance gains do not at all out weigh the potential damage that could be done. Laptops are not designed to be overclocked
