Too hot ?

Hey guys, I have a 6700K with a dark rock pro 3 and I was wondering if 50°C is a normal temp while gaming ? (120°F)

Sometimes MSI command center shows me that my CPU temp drop from 50°C on a gaming session to 30°C as soon as I leave the game, are these values realistic numbers ?

Do you any better free software to see temps ?

THose are pretty good temps. You only need to worry once they hit 70-80º

Sounds good to me.  No need to worry.  Well withing safe operating temps.

50 is a perfectly fine temperature, though it actually seems a bit too low tbh.

HWMonitor is good for monitoring temps.

50 degrees is totally fine. Start to worry when it reaches 80-90

I would not worry if they get past 70. Maybe 80

All of that is perfectly normal. I recommend Open Hardware Monitor for temperature monitoring. But yeah don't worry about your CPU temps unless it's exceeding 75-80C.

50°C under load is good, and about what I expect a well-cooled CPU to be in most games. Just be aware that gaming workloads don't always peg your CPU right at 100% on all cores, so that probably isn't your "worst case scenario" temperature. But your temperatures as given are no cause for concern at all.
