low cpu utilization in premiere pro cc 2017

my cpu utilization in premiere pro is avg 38% in h264 720p............plz help me.

 

my spec

6700k

ROG Maximus hero

16 gig Kingston hyper X 2400mhz

250 Samsung evo

2tb WE Balck

Probably since there h264 isn't great and its 720p. Premiere isn't great.

 

What effects and what gpu?

no gpu for now and no effects just some simple lumetric color corrections.

i was able to render 720p project almost realtime in 2015. but after update it went up to twice the time.

Is this while exporting or while editing?

If not exporting, this is normal

 

720p is pretty easy for CPU's to handle, especially an i7.

 

My school PC's have AMD 7600 chips and exporting 10 mintes of 1080p 30 fps takes almost and hour

Go into task manager, go into performance tab, and expand it.

While exporting, pull this up and it will show you per-core performance.

As expected.

The program is mainly pulling from Core 0 (the first core) while supplementing but not fully using the other cores.

 

Im not sure how to fix the problem, but its something to do with poor Multi-core utilization in the 2017 edition.

is this cause becuz im enable all my 8 cores in msconfig???

Having all cores enabled is good.

Its just the program isnt well optimized
