Is Tacens good?

I just found a 35€ 650w psu from Tances with no rating and 8pin PCI-E, and a 15€ 500w with no PCI-E from the same manufacturer (the second one will go on a cheap resell build.).

Is it a good deal, or do i need to spend more to get at least a rating?

The 650W model they do is a discontinued model, called the 1RV650 i believe. And it's made by Andyson,  and aren't known for their quality.

I personally would just try and get a cheap EVGA/Corsair unit, with an 80+ Bronze rating.

Some bronze/gold rated EVGA/Corsair units are bad. This isn't a good advice, cause rating doesn't always mean quality.

 

As for the PSU itself, Tacens is not a trustworthy company and they don't make good PSUs IIRC, what is the system you want to power and what is your PSU budget? @nitsuga5124

If you can spend an extra 10-15 euros you should be able to get a cx450m, depending on your country.

3.8 isnt an overclock, thats the standard turbo speed

You'd be fine with a cx450m

Its tempral, i will have it at 4.2 ghz when the Hyper 212x arives.

6-phase power so it may not overclock that well but good luck, I suppose? Regardless, a 7650k is a huge bottleneck to a 480.
