hello everyone
this is my first ever "xeon" build
i was going for the 6950x "10c , 20t"
but i thought of giving the xeon a chance .
main purpose : 3D rendering on maxon cinema 4d , and after effects .
i just want to make sure that everything here is compatible

-----------------------------------------
Dual cpu :
HP BL460c Gen9 Intel Xeon E5-2640v3 2.6GHz 90W Processor Kit 726992-B21
link :

motherboard :
ASUS Z10PE-D16 WS Intel C612 Dual Soket 2011-3 DDR4 2133MHz Workstation
Link :
http://www.vatanbilgisayar.com/asus-z10pe-d16-ws-intel-c612-dual-soket-2011-3-ddr4-2133mhz-workstation-anakart.html

ram " NON ECC RAM "
4X Kingston 16GB HyperX Fury Black DDR4 2400MHz CL15 PC Ram
link
http://www.vatanbilgisayar.com/kingston-16gb-hyperx-fury-black-ddr4-2400mhz-cl15-pc-ram.html

plus a 650w power and AMD  r9 380 4gb .
---------------------------------------
what was strange is that i have found the same processor but with different title
for example :
HP BL460c Gen9 Intel Xeon E5-2640v3 2.6GHz is about " 1133 $
HP ML350p Gen8 Intel Xeon E5-2640 2.50GHz " about 1430 $
so what does the hp stands for ? it supposed to be only intel ! right ?
i also found IBM LENOVO !
so is this rig GOOD fo rendring ? or i better go  with
cpu : 6950x
mobo : asus 2011v3
ram : the same ones i mentioned earlier
thanks .
note*
i7 build is much easier for me
because they xeon store is 70 hours away
so if there isn't much of a difference in rendering time i would rather stick to the 6950x

The HP kits are that, sold as being an upgrade for a HP server. See if you can find the CPU by itself. Also be careful about the generation of the Xeon. 2011-3 takes E5 v3 and v4 CPUs from memory, not to be confused with older ones.

Gaming system: R7 7800X3D, Asus ROG Strix B650E-F Gaming Wifi, Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 SE ARGB, Corsair Vengeance 2x 32GB 6000C30, MSI Ventus 3x OC RTX 5070 Ti, MSI MPG A850G, Fractal Design North, Samsung 990 Pro 2TB, Alienware AW3225QF (32" 240 Hz OLED)
Productivity system: i9-7980XE, Asus X299 TUF mark 2, Noctua D15, 64GB ram (mixed), RTX 4070 FE, NZXT E850, GameMax Abyss, Samsung 980 Pro 2TB, iiyama ProLite XU2793QSU-B6 (27" 1440p 100 Hz)
Gaming laptop: Lenovo Legion 5, 5800H, RTX 3070, Kingston DDR4 3200C22 2x16GB 2Rx8, Kingston Fury Renegade 1TB + Crucial P1 1TB SSD, 165 Hz IPS 1080p G-Sync Compatible

thank you so much

ok it's xeon 2640v3 so as you just said it should be compatible with the board i mentioned ,

and the non ecc ram , because i am afraid that the board or the cpu will only allow ecc ram
and please excuse my ignorance about servers its only my first build
so i don't understand what hp upgrade means ,
this is where i am buying it from , it's the cpu by itself isn't ?

Download the mobo manual and see what it says about the ram. I think you are ok with non-ECC ram but can't be 100% sure. I do have a Xeon E5-something v3 in an X99 mobo with non-ECC ram and it is fine. I don't know if server chipset may be different.

The CPU part seems to have a HP part number associated with it. I don't know what that comes with. You can search more, but HP kit items might just be the CPU, or might come with other parts needed to add to a HP server.
