Need help in finding a precision scale

Hi so I have a project due the 14th of december, and for the thing I am doing I need a precision scale (Measuring amount of dust) Does anyone know of any good ones under 20 (30 if needed) I need it shipped by the 12th max so please link reliable sources.

 

Also anyone know any other way I could measure dust? I'm not trying to measure dust levels of a room, I have 5 little sheets of colored material and I'm going to leave the material in for a few days (Really dusty house speeds up the process  ) and I need a precise way of measuring it. Also if needed the sheets are around 5*3-4 inches

To get one that will read into the hundredths of grams you want a very good scientific scale with a cover because air pressure changes will cause it to change. They will be very expensive as well.

Well is there any cheap way to measure dust? It doesn't need to be that accurate as long as you can tell the difference.

Basically all these have a precision of 0.01g, no idea how accurate they are.

If none of these will do, is there a (erm) 'paraphenalia' shop near you ?

They may well have something that will do.

 

Edit :-

To cope with higher than this precision you would need proper scientific scales which will indeed, as mentioned above, need a cover to stop air currents/your breath etc altering the reading these can go into the thousands for decent ones obviouslly no good for a school project.

I'm a precision rifle shooter, and i need a scale that resolves to the kernel of powder. 0.02 grains is considered quite accurate resolution.

 

the problem you're going to find in those pocket scales is drift. it will fall out of calibration quickly and will often not stabilize. I had one and will never ever buy one let alone suggest one.

 

I use an A&D FXi i think it's a 320. not cheap. the one previous to this one was an Acculab.
