Looking for a nice looking laptop suiteable for VR. I don't mind if it's heavy ( not too heavy ) or thick ( not too thick ) aslong as it has decent battery life, warranty, is reliable and powerful.

I've never bought a laptop before i've only built PCS so i'm not sure about pricing. What do you reccomend? Looking for entry level nothing like a 1080 SLI or ridiculous like that, I was thinking something with an I7, 980/1060/1070 and 16GB RAM.

Also, does anyone know what the processor numbers mean in laptops, like instead of a 6700K for unlocked  its a 6700HQ, 6700Q etc, what are they?

Anything powerful enough to run a VR headset is not going to have a good battery life. If your intention is to Play VR games while running on battery, you're going to have a bad time, If you're going to be taking the laptop places for any other reason and needs to run off battery, its going to be better, still not great.

Any of the new MSI VR ready laptops will only last about 3 - 4 hours of general use 4 - 6  hours on idle and up to an hour of actual gaming use.

I didn't mean while running VR, I meant just okay battery life outside of VR. Are MSI cost efficient laptops? I love their products but they seem pricey.
