Installing windows

So I'm currently installing windows and t has been in this screen for the past 20mins

Do you have the spinning dot circle?

Is this after the first stage of the installation, or loading the setup?

Plugged in USB and straight up went into this screen

Well it's been 30minutes. Maybe it's because I plugged it into a USB 3 rather than 2? Idk

Yea, this is not normal. Even if you have a super slow system. Shutdown the system, and plug it to a different USB port. Avoid USB hubs, try and plug directly on the back of your system.

 

If it still doesn't work, try a different USB flash drive, something might be wrong with the one you have, where it doesn't like to be bootable.

 

I assume you use the Media Creation tool to make the USB flash drive, correct?

Na I downloaded it from here https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10ISO then used the mac boot camp and it worked.

I'm on a Mac and can't run the media tool because it's an exe file
