OpenVPN Port 2048?

My VPN stopped working and I think it has to do with port 1164 and 443 being blocked. I switched from the standard port to 443 or something that supposedly can't be blocked due to it being https. But it doesn't work. So I was doing stuff on the network and found port 2048 is open and it is used for UDP/TCP. So would it work to send data through that port?

its what im about to test tmrw at my school, they did the same thing i have a list of open ports im going to test.

Basically it is but if you keep it super generic/non specific and as a discussion topic only then it is ok .

"How do I block it and what are the common ways people get around it so I can block those" is a much better way to ask this question. FYI you want port 443 not 446.

Just exercise caution and don't do anything disruptive, be mindful of any potential punishments you may be subject to also. See thread below for an example of what is not allowed and my post for the reasoning as to why.

I don't misuse it, heck the only reason I do is to go on the LTT forums and to speed up Youtube connection at home. I already changed it to port 443 and that didn't work. I guess experimenting could be a beneficial learning experience.
