ASUS Z170-A or GIGABYTE GA-Z170X-Gaming3?

thinking of bundling it with a i5-6600k and a 1070 windforce oc.
opinions pls

I vote ASUS, as the gaming 3 is not a high quality a board. I also prefer ASUS's looks and reputaiton

ASUS is generally the best mobo brand, but gigabyte is up there too. its probably down to brand loyalty or features. personally i would go with the ASUS due to their reputation, but gigabyte seems ok

Yep I would choose Asus or MSI, just remember you down need a $300 board. You. Can find good options in the $130-$200 range.
