1070 Founder for 4k?

Maximusfoximus
Go to solution Solved by Inkz,

Only really lighter games like Overwatch or something for a 1070 at 4k.

I wanted to get a 4k monitor. Either https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00PC9HFO8/ref=crt_ewc_title_dp_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER or https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B01CH9ZTI4/ref=crt_ewc_title_dp_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER. I have 16gb ddr4 ram, gtx 1070 founder, and i7 6700k. Can I run a game like Forza Motorsport at max with those specs?

Probably... but it wouldn't be the best experience.

Yes you can actually. A 980Ti can and the 1070 should be as fast.

You'd have to modify the settings. You'd still get a very nice experience. If you turn off all forms of AA (which you wouldnt need) You should be able to run it nicely
