It the MasterKeys Lite L Combo RGB any good

So I am shopping around for a good keyboard for the prize of of newegg and I came across MasterKeys Lite L Combo RGB http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?item=N82E16823129060 it's mechanical, RGB lighting, and even comes with an ok mouse for just 30 buck and I thougt to myself there has to be a catch

The catch is, it's not actually Mechanical with Cherry switches

• No software for RGB, all done through KB
• Its $60 not $30

Like deXxterlab97 said, it is not actually mechanical but rather a membrane keyboard that feels mechanical. I was actually going to buy that keyboard but decided to save my money and get a real mechanical keyboard. If you need a keyboard right now and have $30 to spare I say go for it. Otherwise, save your money and get a real mechanical keyboard. There are Chinese mechanical keyboards with knock-off Cherry switches starting at around $35 on amazon.

 

Actually, I just found a option from Corsair on amazon for $49.99. It does not have back-lighting or a numpad, but it looks great.

I actually really like the looks. The membrane sheet makes the RGB effects really smooth.
