PC Crashes after "Windows is Loading Files"

I followed several Youtube tutorials that had me format the drive to NTFS, then copy the contents of the Windows 7 install disk onto it. My only other idea is formatting this drive to FAT32, as this is supposed to be recognized in UEFI mode. Will it?

Just use Rufus, it will be way easier ;)

A little background is necessary here, so bear with me! I recently upgraded my system from an FX 6350 to an i7 6700k, and therefor changed motherboards in the act. I foolishly forgot this meant a clean install of windows, and now I'm left with a PC that will crash whenever I try to load windows.

This, however, is not the problem. The problem is that after creating a bootable USB, my system refuses to recognize it in UEFI mode. If I'm in UEFI + Legacy mode, I can find the USB stick in the boot menu; once selected, it says "windows is loading files" then crashes shortly after. My HDD has not been wiped, but shouldn't I be able to install windows on my SSD, or at least get to a place where I can make this choice through the bootable usb?

Thanks in advance for the help!

Your USB does not seem to be created for UEFI mode. How did you create it?

I usually download the Windows 10 ISO and then use Rufus to set up the USB stick.

I should also mention that the only computer I have running windows is the computer that isn't booting, so unfortunately I'm limited to using a mac. I may be able to use a friend's computer, but if I do am I making a FAT32 bootable usb or an NTFS?

Doesn't matter if you are trying to UEFI boot.

Just decided to purchase a CD drive, and skip the bootable usb all together. I'll update the thread with what will hopefully be my success. Thank you for your help!

Update: I am able to install windows 7 in safe mode, but unfortunately it comes up with an error "Windows cannot complete the installation in safe mode," at which point it instructs me to restart. However, outside of safe mode I continue to crash after windows is loading files. Please help! I'm at a complete loss.
