The PC's screen is...

I heard my friend told me that while he was playing League of Legends, and it crashed.He restarted his pc, and the screen aspect ratio turned to 4:3. He tried to figure the problem out, but he can't find anything.

I don't know what pc spec does he have, but what I know, is he is using amd's processer and its integrated graphic

Is it possible that this has something to do with windows installing a generic or old driver?

I don't really know, but he used the driver for 3-4 months.(I think the problem is here)

Has he done a fresh reinstall of the drivers? Will never hurt to start there.

nope, but is it really the driver crashed?

And i have to reinstall the driver ?

Delete the drivers with DDU and reinstall them. Then make sure that the resolution in Windows corresponds with the Monitor's resolution.

Then maybe it's a good time to upgrade to Windows 10...

"He" is using XP, not me,however, he will receive a new pc(don't ask its spec, u will be afraid)
