With Cinebench and Firestrike:

  • In Cinebench the 7700K gets 1048 and my 5820K gets 1020 (with apps running in the background)
  • In Firestrike the 7700K gets 15500 and my 5820K gets 13000 (without any overclock)

Ok so multi threaded apps and its still ahead :)

 

4/8 core/threaded apps it will smash 5820k, however, the rest X99 wins and ofc the platform is MUCH better

There is more headroom in the 5820K (keep in mind these scores were run at 3.3GHz)

Oooops, I forgot a 0 in the Firestrike score, it isn't 1300, it is 13000 xD
