Hey guys,

I have a nas server from Zyxel, 2 hard disk in mirror raid.
But I am experiencing a very big inconvenience. the transfer speeds aren't even 1MB/second
It is around 120kb/s, how is that possible? I am connected with a ethernet cable to a switch and my nas is connected to the same switch.

Every now and then connection also gets lost and I have no idea why or what is happening

Someone know how I can solve this?

too many things here. as your connection speed been downgraded. so is the 100 or 100 or 10 light on if you have those lights? does it say 10, 100, 1000 on your computers network properties?

Is the cable damaged?

cable isn't damaged, when doing a speedtest from that swith I get 96 MB/s for connecting to the internet

is it a gigabit switch? I need to confirm if your switch & network is operating in a downgraded state. I have working gigabit network so when i click on my network properties it tells me the network speed is connected at 1000Mb/s. My disconnected NICs show 10 Mb/s because they have been downgraded as they failed to connect at 100 or 1000. There should also be something in your NAS web interface that displays the network speed.
