Hello guys. yesterdays i've bought new pair of headphones. I like how they sound when plugged to my phone (LG G2) But when i plug them to my PC they sound like crap.
I guess the issue is with the driver because i'm running some generic audio driver that installed by itself when i installed my windows 10.

The motherboard is Asus m4a88-TM with VIA HD audio, i browsed the support page for my motherboard and found only drivers for windows 8.1 (I've tried those but no luck)
Soo i'm stuck now with my generic drivers...

VIA VT1708S @ ATI SB750 - High Definition Audio Controller    PCI -  Note: This is built in audio device í'ts not on PCI slot or smth.

VIA HD Audio is a generic audio chip on nearly all motherboards so you also have a generic driver. You could try using a sound card which might improve the quality. Have you used other headphones with that pc?

Yes before i upgraded to windows 10 i was running windows 7 which included a program called "VDeck" or something like that with the driver. And my old headphones which were some chep random chinise junk sounded better than my current entry level headphones on the same pc

Changing the sample rate might improve the audio quality.

Other than that, different devices have different drivers and chips. That is why your headphones might sound better with your phone than your PC.

Like I said before, try using a sound card if you can get one. It should improve sound quality if your on-board audio chip is not the best.

maybe download the Windows 8.1 drivers and instead of using the installer, go to device manager by right clicking on the start button and find the audio device in device manager, then right click it and click Update Driver Software, then click browse my computer, then point it to the Win 8.1 driver folder and it might actually work
