Is it safe to use 8 motherboard screws on an ATX motherboard?

So the Cooler Master Masterbox 5 comes with 9 motherboard standoffs, but only 8 motherboard screws. Is it safe to use only 8 screws, and if so, where do I put them?

You can just ignore the bottom middle one. It'll be secure. Nothing gonna happen. Get one later from a friend or someone and then put it later. It's gonna be fine :)

So I should ignore the bottom middle one and not the center middle one?

Depends on the board and case, some cases have a stand-off there, some have that little nipple thing for centering.
