That's like saying a Bugatti is better than a Toyota Yaris. Of course it's better, the H100 is $100 and the Intel stock cooler is free with a CPU.

Okay come on guys he obviously didn't know so instead of posting snarky condescending comments why not just politely inform him products like this have been out for awhile and maybe further inform him about them? Instead of just saying how oblivious he is... Remember this is supposed to be a friendly non hostile snarky superior tech site? I'm sure we all felt pretty awesome when we first started learning about graphics cards and aftermarket CPU coolers or whatever. He doesn't need people making fun of him :I

i think it is because of the word "fail" that corsair put on the intel stock cooler.

I overclocked (over-volted) my stock cooler and it blew the doors off that H101 thingy :lol:

I roll with sigs off so I have no idea what you're advertising.

Yea, I found it funny. People somehow seem to be interpreting this picture as me saying "A $100 cooler is better than intel's stock cooler. Look at this graph". But really it's Corsair comparing their Corsair H100i on a overclocked 3770K @4.6Ghz against a stock intel cooler. The funniest part is how they don't even show the temps on the stock cooler they just put fail in capital letters.

I think they are saying, the cpu runs too hot and crashing. Hence failing.

Yep. Still silly how they compare it to the intel stock cooler though. That is in no way their competition and it's not meant for overclocking.

Yea but would you compare a Bugatti Veyron to a Toyota Yaris in a head-to-head comparison?
