Audio Interface Suggestions Pls

Hey, Im looking for an audio interface. The thing im having trouble with is finding one with an optical input. I want to be able to use it as a mixer when im playing PS4 games and talking to my friends on PC. I think there are other options but Im also looking at getting a decent mic so i will need an xlr input for that and id rather have it all built into one box on my desk.   I have found a few but they are rather expensive, i was wondering if anyone knows of a budget option/solution? If not i will spend the money but I dont want to pay that kind of cash for something i don't really know anything about.

I'm having trouble trying to imagine what the topology of the setup is.

You want the PS4 and mic going into one thing so they spit out where? Speaking to a PC means getting a USB or 3.5mm input, but then you mentioned XLR which ... how is this all plugging in where?

Please draw a diagram of this setup.

Sorry maybe xlr isnt the thing im thinking of.   Its the one that most higher end mics use.   I want headphones and mic plugged into the interface with individual controls for volume etc, but i also want to be able to plug my PS4 into it and use it as a mixer between the PC and Playstation.

Im assuming that the audio interfaces i found that have an optical input also contain a DAC so they can output the digital signal to the headphones. would i be right, or is the optical in going to be for passing through the usb to the computer?   They dont mention anything about being a DAC, i just assumed.      Im such a newb to this and i kind of insist on jumping in at the deep end lol.

Ah ok so what youre saying is that the interface will not work as a mixer and i guess has separate outlets for the PC audio and the optical audio.   i would then have to put those two into a mixer so i can play them both in a single pair of headphones.
