Problems booting after attempting raid

So my problem is this,

I did a raid 0 with 2 HDD (Using Gigabyte G7 Z170A)

after i pressed Save&Exit the system just automatically launched the bios all the time,

when i tried to press F12 on boot to check bootable devices, it didn't show any.

I went back Returned all the settings back to default and it booted without problems.

I did not attempt to do a raid with my main HDD used for boot but with 2 empty new HDD's

Don't use MOBO raid. Use the raid in windows.

Meaning: make a striped volume. Addmitedly it's an easier solution.

I thought about it but i heard that it puts the HDD in more danger than the MOBO raid+that it has a bunch of cons
