Best 140mm fans for AIO liquid cooling?

Hey guys.

Just got my H110i GT back from an RMA, and I was thinking about getting some new fans for it. I was using SP140's with green LEDs previously, but I found them a little loud. I also have some Bitfenix Spectre's (again green LEDs) in the rig atm and they seem really quiet as intake fans, but I don't know how they'd handle a radiator. I'm also liking the look of EK's Vardar fans, but the 140mm ones seem really expensive compared to the 120's (double the price on Amazon). Noctua NF-A14's look great too, but just looking to see what everyone else's thoughts are.

So I guess my question is, what are the best 140mm fans for AIO liquid cooling that you don't have to pay through the nose for?

The only requirement is that they either have green LEDs, or no LEDs and a black casing.

I guess I should point out that I'm based in the UK if people are going to post links for Amazon etc.

Thanks,

CGurrell

This is the info I used when I bought the SP140's, but they're pretty loud

SP140's aren't great fans from what I've heard, try slowing them down. Or look at the new maglev fans that corsair are doing they look good

I have the NF-A14 industrial 2000 PWM. they are so great... so quiet.. no doubt you should grab that (or the non-industrial version if you don't want to burn money like I did)

The noise could be the air passing through the rad fins

Hmm. So Amazon have the ML140 Pro's for around £20 each, and the NF-A14 Industrial for around £22.50. Is it worth paying the extra fiver (for 2) to get the Noctua's or should I give the ML140's a shot?

Noctua has 6 year warranty; ML 5 year warranty. Theres a youtube review comparing sound and the ML is louder but the ML have nice LED effect. Some MLs come in a cheaper two pack

I'd compare specs...

http://www.corsair.com/en/ml140-pro-140mm-premium-magnetic-levitation-fan

http://noctua.at/en/nf-a14-industrialppc-2000-pwm/specification

Noctua wins when it comes to airflow (+10.82% after converting to CFM) and static pressure (+39.33%).

The price is 12.5% more so I think it's worth it.

It also has 1 year of warranty more than the ML140. plus, it's IP52.

edit:

The warranty is longer, but the ML140 is rated to fail after 30% more hours of operation compared to the NF - it doesn't really matter because it's a very VERY long time anyway.

The ML140 is also 17.46% louder.

Thanks for the answers so far guys, swaying towards the Noctua's atm. Has anyone else got any suggestions?
