Mic Problems

I have a Razer Seiren and it seems that it won't be recognized by Skype. I did some more digging around and it seems that Windows is detecting the mic and any input sounds just fine. Skype detects the mic but no audio plays through it. I tried it with another mic and that worked fine. I'm wondering what i would need to do for the input of the mic to go into Skype. Do I need to have it run at a certain quality? Or is there something that I'm missing?

Did you simply restart your computer yet? I have had trouble with mics and skype/teamspeak in the past and the only thing that solved it is restarting my computer.
