contact support, what an asshats for not putting in the manual what it means (dunno if other company's are better with this but c'mon it was the standard to include stuff like this)

Figured it out. Its not included anywhere...well anywhere, but I had the ram installed incorrectly. This mobo uses a strange ram mechanism, but doesn't tell you how to use it.

You need to push down hard on the non locking side, then the locking side. Why coundl't they just do it normally?

New computer, when I turn it on with only Power, Cpu, and Fans connect to the Gigabyte z170 HD3 Motherboard, I get 5 beeps about 1-2 second/s long before powering down, and trying again. The fans spin up, but nothing else goes. I re-seated the CPU already, tried it with an without ram, no change. I tried to find information on the beeps but all the manual says is "One beep means it works."

Computers r fun

yea they need to fire whoever wrote that manual, they didn't include POST beep codes and ikea style assembly pictures, thats what i would expect because you work with delicate parts.
