Alright I'm looking for the best h81 series board to overclock my pentium g3258 and please don't tell me I need a z series board because you don't. Budget is 50-60 dollars for the motherboard

This lists some boards that people have said work, I have no idea whether it is correct or not, but here is the cheapest one.

You can get a z97 board for $80 probabbly worth it to ensure compatability .

If you don't have the pentium yet I would suggest an AMD athlon 845 (or a 860k/880k for overclocking) the pentium is an overclocking toy, not much good for anything past that, the multithreaded speeds on are utterly terrible, and if you are gaming on it expect stuttering issues.

 •E5-2670 @2.7GHz • Intel DX79SI • EVGA 970 SSC• GSkill Sniper 8Gb ddr3 • Corsair Spec 02 • Corsair RM750 • HyperX 120Gb SSD • Hitachi 2Tb HDD •

The g3258 is stonger per core
