Yes, it would work fine. 2 DIMMs in one channel, 2 in the other.

On my secondary build, I have 4 slots for RAM. My motherboard is Intel DQ45CB and is equipped with 3 gb of memory. Now, my brother would like to take this gaming (:P) pc to play roblox and minecraft on it. The problem is, there is not enough RAM, and he would need a little bit more. I plan to remove the current memory and instead put this : https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B0032CMZ06/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=A1XKLTAW7R2SP8&psc=1 Is it gonna work? This motherboard support dual channel, but say it support four slots. Is 4x2gb gonna work?
