Anyone could recommend a 500gb SSD and a 1tb HDD for a reasonable price?

Samsung 850 EVO and WD Blue. They're about as good as you can get in terms of good performance for a good price.

I do agree with Samsung 850 evo all the way.

But about HDD, Black series will perform a bit better. Then again, I guess that drive will be used donly for movies and other useless waste of bits.
