Hi, I have build this parts list together to build a computer. Uses are: browsing the internet, checking emails and watching videos online. Anything I could improve? Anything I can change to make cheaper?. Budget is ~NZ$1000

Thanks

Also I don't mind it being ATX, in fact I would prefer it to be ATX but I just assumed ITX was cheaper

mini-itx is actually more expensive than atx or micro-atx from what i've seen so far.don't think you'd need an i5 for internet browsing, an i3 will do. recommend getting a 240gb ssd as the boot drive for fast boot times and better responsiveness and try to get a better psu like the seasonic s/m12ii and cx450/550m instead.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X Heatsink: Gelid Phantom Black GPU: Palit RTX 3060 Ti Dual RAM: Corsair DDR4 2x8GB 3000Mhz mobo: Asus X570-P case: Fractal Design Define C PSU: Superflower Leadex Gold 650W

If they only browse the internet I doubt you even need Skylake for such a task. You can save a LOT of money here, but choose your parts wisely.

I was more going for the Intel 530 graphics

Something like this?

that's good, but just get something like a 2tb seagate barracuda and a 120gb ssd instead, same price or less but faster and slightly more storage.

I could settle for a 1TB WD Black. It's easier for me if there is only one drive as I don't have to change the installation folder for apps everytime

i'd recommend against a black, not really worth it over a small performance increase. if you really don't want to use an ssd just get one of seagate's hybrid drives, frequently used apps/OS will become faster over time once it gets access to the ssd cache.

2 drives are always better than 1. In case 1 fails, you still got the other. By the way, a 1TB Black drive would cost you more than a 120GB SSD + 500GB HDD. :)

imo they have the potential, but the cache is abit to small for my liking. its just a few clicks, not really a exhausting thing to do.

HOLY S*** aren't you the guy that Luke put in his video for a PC that was the same cost as an i7 6950X?

Also, here's my list. I think PCPARTPICKER should fix their prices. The CX430M doesn't have a price point in their database. The PC is actually supposed to be more expensive
