I'm currently a couple steps away from having all of the parts and components for my pc all together. I just need the OS. I have Windows 8.1 on my laptop and I love it, and I want to get Windows 8.1 for my PC. I've heard that you can't use the OS from laptop because of bios and it's set to that computer but then I've seen a lot of articles saying you can. There's an option on Amazon for $69 to buy the activation key. If I went that route, how do I go about actually getting the OS on my PC without DVD and everything, I know you use flash drive but what do you do. I would like to get Windows 8.1 for free if possible. Does anybody know how I could do this?
