HI guy/girl I'm building a PC for the first time. I have chosen components for the build and tested it with the PC parts picker website for compatibility. I just wanted to know if you have any recommendations for other parts. I have about a $3000 AUD for the build. the parts list link is below.

Looks great to me! What will you be using it for?

Personally I'd use Pro vs Home, cause if I recall Windows 10 locked some things like manually updates out of Home.
I don't remember if it did anything else though.

EDIT: Also $88 for a DVD DRIVE!? I dunno the value of AUS but unless its 1/4th the value of USD thats rediculous, and I would question how often I used an Optical drive at that point.
EDIT2: - Wait its a BluRay drive... Still though, thats a lot and I'd question how much I'd use it.

RMx and G2 are both tier 1 so I wouldnt say the evga one is "better" unless you've done some actual testing on them :P

What is the use case for this build? These are very high end parts and if this is your first PC on this magnitude, you probably won't need the power. Notable excessive components include your motherboard, M.2 SSD, and graphics card. Also, do you really need the optical drive?

Hope this helps...

Game development, some video editing ( very little), gaming and uni work

In this case, unless you are playing AAA titles at 4K, maximum settings, then this is quite over-kill. What games are you playing and at what resolution and settings?

Hope this helps...
