Dead pixels

I just installed my new BenQ Zowie XL2411 and after a day of use, I noticed one dead pixel near the upper border of my screen.

I contacted my online retailer and I can exchange my display for a new one, free of charge. 

Now I was wondering how common these dead pixels are. I could exchange my screen, but if I get a screen with even more or more-annoyingly placed pixels. What do you guys think I should do?
