i have 1000 euros and this is my build on pcpartpicker will it work https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/Frg2bj

It'll work, but I do not recommend that config at all. No point getting an unlocked CPU to run it on a motherboard you can't overclock on. Save some cash and get a 6700 (non-k), and put that cash elsewhere (maybe into the GPU if you're gaming, or a nicer case, motherboard, etc)

Main Rig: R9 5950X @ PBO, RTX 3090, 64 GB DDR4 3666, InWin 101, Full Hardline Watercooling

Server: R7 1700X @ 4.0 GHz, GTX 1080 Ti, 32GB DDR4 3000, Cooler Master NR200P, Full Soft Watercooling

LAN Rig: R5 3600X @ PBO, RTX 2070, 32 GB DDR4 3200, Dan Case A4-SFV V4, 120mm AIO for the CPU

HTPC: i7-7700K @ 4.6 GHz, GTX 1050 Ti, 16 GB DDR4 3200, AliExpress K39, IS-47K Cooler

Router: R3 2200G @ stock, 4GB DDR4 2400, what are cases, stock cooler

I don't have a problem...

I would not recommend your list too. I have made a new one, I think this one would be better for you (just a recommendation) : https://pcpartpicker.com/list/H2sqBP

drop your fanboyism and get the gtx 1070 instead, you're just shooting yourself in the foot by going with the 390x. also, you won't be able to oc with the b150 mobo, either get a z170 mobo or go with the 6700 non-k.

Why is that? Unless there is a specific feature they have (e.g. FreeSync), don't let the brand effect your decision.

The 390X is an outdated card, I would not by it now. There are better options like the 1060 6Gb...

I still would not let something like this effect my decision, especially because cunstumer support (for refunds etc.) depends on the manufacturer, like Asus, EVGA, Msi, not on Nvidia or AMD themselfes

First, unless you bought it straight from Nvidia (which I doubt) that issue is with the specific vendor (EVGA, MSI, Asus, etc), not Nvidia as a whole.

Second, most GPUs work. If any is defective, you should RMA it, and most people don't have issues. Whatever you had was an isolated incident. I can't assign blame to you or the manufacturer because I don't know the full story, but I will say not to neglect a vendor because of one incident that could be isolated.

So, to conclude, move on and get an Nvidia card, you have the budget for it and the performance is WAY better.

(example edit of your build, personally there are more changes I would make: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/3TkFKZ)

The performance difference in any game (with VERY limited exception) is indicative of the performance difference in all games. Perhaps you should do more research into how these kind of things work before dropping this kind of cash, that's a pretty basic concept.

I've had my own troubles with Asus before, but I did manage to resolve them. With all manufacturers really, you have to push them to take the action you want. My issue was especially complex because the damage I had to my motherboard was normally not under warranty, but I was instructed to inflict it by support staff. So, it took time to get what I deserved, but it did happen. Honestly you'll get better at dealing with support with experience.

No need for bad language. I understand customer support is frustrating, but honestly Asus does make great products. GPUs really don't matter much in terms of which board partner you get, but their motherboards are my personal favourites by far. I guess you have to try the other brands for yourself and see if it is worth your time to have to deal with their support in the unlikely case your hardware is faulty. For me, it is worth it. But it very well may not be for you.
