Alright so Ive been having issues with Windows Hardware reserving RAM but now its just rediculous. I Added a 2GB stick to what I already have in hopes that windows would turn my 4.1Gb Hardware Reserved/8Gb into 5GB Hardware reserved out of 10Gb. (I had 8GB of RAM, now I have 10). Anyways, now Windows gives me 6 FUCKING GB OF HARDWARE RESERVED RAM> WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK MICROSOFT, with no changes to usable. Anyways, what do I do?

I think you can change that in the BIOS (shared memory for the onboard-GPU), at least I was able on a couple of PCs.

If you can tell me where that is in my Bios it would be much appreciated, because I can't find it

Well I know for a fact that windows shouldn't even be using more than a GB based on my laptop and my dads laptop

what I took from that article is that Windows reserves RAM for hardware. So your graphics or other hardware is influencing RAM use. This is the Windows 7 article from MS relating to this https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/978610

Are you using internal graphics or are you using a graphics card?

Well seeing as I have a non-onboard GPU on my motherboard or CPU the answer is no. I have a FX-8320 and a 270X

I can't find this setting on my MSI board (970 Krait SLI). I was able to change this setting on my old board.

Maybe your RAM isn't compatible with your board?

Thats all I can think of for now..

Did you get the same model, or a "compareable" one?

Maybe try updating your BIOS?

I would try that but I even clean installed Windows and had the same problem immediately after the install. I can try a HDD out of another system if that helps

Slightly different model.

Tried updating my BIOS, no luck

Then I am out of ideas, sorry.

Did you talk to ASUS about this problem?

Derp. I don't know why, but I thought you have a ASUS board.. My bad.

A 6600k would be a nice upgrade.

Yeah. Might ask for a early christmas present to get rid of the main parts and slowly upgrade
