it is in beta so you may see a few bugs with it. maybe later this day. october 28.

Finally, this was the only thing stopping me from selling my 670 and picking up a 7970. Bit disappointed about the 20 minute cap for windows 7 though, hopefully that gets fixed in a later update.

AMD user opinion- I don't really care for it, not being like arrogant or anything but I personally don't have any use for it. it is helpfuly for a lot of people though so i'm kind of glad that nvidia brought this to life.

So I tried it on Crysis 3 (because you can easy notice FPS drops) and it works great
I couldn't notice any peformance issues and the shadow mode is awesome.
The file size is also really good 5min 1080p/60FPS was about 1,7GB.

I have my questions about this regarding the shadowplay option, Isn't this bad for the HDD writing an 1gb file every 5/10 minutes?

Being able to save your previous 20 minutes is already a huge improvement compared to 0.

That is in shadowmode. In Manual mode, you can record however much you want, if you have the harddrive space for it.

A recording I just did stopped randomly though. It got to 23:38 and just stopped. but hey, it's beta, can't really complain..  it took ony 3.8 GB at medium settings, quite good..

Well everything has teething problems I guess. Did you notice much performance drop or is it as good as they say it is?

Just recorded a game of gun game in CS:S and it's great. Quality is almost perfect, and it runs in perfect frames, but there is stuttering every 10 seconds or so like it's skipping a frame or two. Overall I'm gonna be using it a lot!

Not true, my Dxtory file can get the size of 14gb while still recording.

BTW im going to post a video soon what I'm working on to compare Dxtory vs Shadowplay so far my results: Shadowplay is way better --> Better FPS and filesize is insane smaller up to 10gb smaller for the same lenght.

To compare the FPS I have used MSI afterburner FPS thingy and then just recorded multiple cutscenes in multiple games so it's the same thing when you record it with Dxtory or Shadowplay.

Shadowplay is amazing . This is useful for me as a player in League of Legends, i can review my game and things I did wrong and also some amazing plays . Question though,i can't seem to record a game in BF 4 Multiplayer
