Why do you want a backlight keyboard? I never look at my keyboard.

Fumbling around at night for the volume buttons because I'm watching TV in bed and it just got really loud.

You can't just add a back light keyboard.

 

Other than having to run the lights(there is a lot of fiber optics under the keys), the keys need to be translucent.
